Solution

The correct option is C 6.30
Weight of 50 mL of 1 M oxalic acid
Molarity=mM×Vol. of sol(L) (m=mass)

1=m×100126×50

m=126×50×11000=6.3 g

Wt of 50 ml of 0.5 M oxalic acid
=0.5×126×501000=3.15 g

Amount of oxalic acid absorbed on 0.5 g charcoal
=6.33.15=3.15 g

Amount of oxalic acid absorbed on 1 gram or per gram charcoal
=3.15×2=6.3 g
