CxHy+(x+y4)O2xCO2+y2H2O

7.5ml7.5(x+y4)ml7.5xml

Volume of CO2=15ml= volume absorbed by KOH
7.5x=15x=2

Volume left =28.515=13.5ml

Volume of O2 (used) =3613.5=22.5ml

7.5(x+y4)=22.5

Solve for y, putting x=2,y=4

Hence, the formula =C2H4
