Let the position of the stone at an instance as shown in figure.


Centrifugal force acting on the stone,
mv2R=1×421=16 N
Weight of the stone, mg=1×10=10 N
Balancing the forces acting on the stone,
T=mg cos θ+mv2R
6=10cos θ+16
cos θ=1
θ=180
At this angle, the stone will be at the top of the circle.
