Solution

Formula to calculate Normality:

Normality(N)=GivenweightofsubstanceEquivalentweightofsubstance×1000Volume(inmL)

Given the weight of NaOH=2g

The molecular weight of NaOH=40g
The equivalent weight of NaOH=MolecularweightAcidityofBase=401=40

The Given volume of solution=100cm3=100mL

Normality(N)=240×1000100=0.5N

Conclusion statement: The normality of the solution of the given solution is 0.5N
