## Let the ratio be $\text{x}$.The given ratio is $=8:4:2$So the number of $25$ paise coins $=8\text{x}$Number of $50$ paise coins $=4\text{x}$Number of $1$rupee coins $=\text{2x}$According to the question the total values of coins is $=8\text{x+4x+2x=840}$ $⇒\text{14x=840}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}⇒\text{x=}\frac{840}{14}\text{=60}$Amount of $25$ paise coin $=\text{8x=8(60)=480}$Amount of $50$ paise coin $=4\text{x=4(60)=240}$Amount of $1$rupee coin $=2\text{x=2(60)=120}$Hence, the coins are $480,240,120.$
