Number of black balls $= 5$
Total number of balls $= 5 + 3 = 8$
$(i)$ Probability of drawing red balls $= \frac{N u m b e r o f r e d b a l l s}{T o t a l N u m b e r o f b a l l s} = \frac{3}{8}$
$(i i)$ Probability of drawing black balls $= \frac{N u m b e r o f b l a c k b a l l s}{T o t a l N u m b e r o f b a l l s} = \frac{5}{8}$
