Bag contains $3$ red and $5$ black balls

No. of red$=3$

No. of black balls$=5$

Total no. of balls$=3+5=8$

Probability (red ball )$=\frac{3}{3+5}=\frac{3}{8}$

P(not a red ball)=P(black ball)

$=\frac{5}{3+5}=\frac{5}{8}$
