The correct option is C 4
Total number of fruits $= 8 + 6 + X$
So, Probability of selecting a pineapple $= \frac{N u m b e r o f f a v o u r a b l e o u t c o m e s}{T o t a l n u m b e r o f o u t c o m e s} = \frac{6}{8 + 6 + X} = \frac{1}{3}$
$=> 18 = 14 + X$
$X = 4$
So, there were $4$ oranges in the bag.
