A bag contains Rs.$187$ in the form of $1$ rupee, $50$ paise and $10$ paise coin in the ratio $3:4:5$ respectively. Find the number of each type of coin

Let the number of $1$ rupee,$50$ paise and $10$ paise coins be $3x,4x$ and $5x$ respectively, then

$3x+4x\times \frac{50}{100}+5x\times \frac{10}{100}=187$

$\Rightarrow 3x+2x+\frac{x}{2}=187$

$\Rightarrow \frac{11x}{2}=187$

$\Rightarrow x=187\times \frac{2}{11}=34$

$\therefore 3x=3\times 34=102,4x=4\times 34=136$ and $5x=5\times 34=170$

$\therefore$ Number of $1$ rupee coins is $102,50$paise coins is $136,10$ paise coins $170$
