Initial momentum = 4 kgms−1
Final Momentum = 7 kgms−1
Given, Initial velocity(u) = 40 ms−1 , Final velocity(v) = 70 ms−1 , Mass = 100 g = 0.1 kg.
Initial Momentum = mass×initial velocity
=0.1×40
=4 kgm s−1.
Final Momentum = mass×final velocity
=0.1×70
=7 kgm s−1.
