A basket has 120 fruits, out of which 50% are bananas, 20 are apples, and rest are oranges. What percentage of the fruits are oranges?

Total number of fruits = 120
Number of bananas = 50% of 120
=50100×120
= 60
Given, number of apples = 20
Therefore,
No. of oranges
= Total no. of fruits - (No. of bananas + No. of apples)
= 120 - (60 + 20)
= 120 - 80
= 40
Percentage of oranges = 40120× 100
Percentage of oranges = 33.33%
