= 50 − 1
There are 49 eggs in the basket at the start.

Prime numbers from 2 to 50:
2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, and 47

There are 15 prime numbers from 2 to 50. In other words, there are 15 eggs numbered by a prime number. These eggs are put in a different basket.

No. of eggs left = 49 - 15
