The correct option is A 0.98m/s2;17.6N

Given,

Mass of block A, ma=3kg

Mass of block B, mb=2kg

Forces on 2kgblock

mbgT=mba ...... (1)

Forces on 3kg block

Tmagsin30o=maa ...... (2)

From (1) and (2)

a=mbgmagsin30oma+mb=2×9.813×9.81×0.52+3=0.981 m/s2

Put value of a in equation (1)

T=mbgmba=2×9.812×0.981=17.65 N

Tension in cable is 17.65 N and acceleration is 0.98 m/s2
