We can use the equation
v^2=u^2+2as

Here we want to find v
u=4 m/s
a=-4 m/s^2
s=2m
so,
v^2=4^2 + (2×-4×2)
=16 - 16)
=0

So velocity after traveling 2m is 0 m/s
