The correct option is D 500 J
Given, mass of a body =100 gm=0.1 kg

Since, the body is under free fall, u=0
Using, s=ut+12at2, we get
s=12gt2
s=12×10×(10)2=10002=500 m
Force of gravity (F)=mg=0.1×10=1 N
Workdone by gravity (W)=F.s=Fs, as cos0o=1
( force of gravity is along same direction as displacement)
W=1×500=500 J

Hence option D is the correct answer
