Since both bodies are moving along +ve x axis, the initial momentum of the system is,
Pi=m(2v) ^i+(2m)v ^i
Pi=4mv ^i

After collision and sticking together, let the combined mass move with velocity v along +ve xaxis

Since Fext=0, we can apply conservation of linear momentum on system of m & 2m
Pi=Pf
4mv ^i=(3m)v ^i
v=43v

Hence, v is the speed of system after collision.
