There will be two tensions in the chain.
.
(1) Tension due to ceiling will be acting vertically upward. This will be equal to the weight of the chain W₂.

(2) Tension due to body will be acting vertically upward. This will be equal to the weight of the body W₁.

Total tension or pull on the chain by ceiling will be W₁+ W₂.
