Given, mass of earth M=6×1024 kg, Radius of earth R=6.4×106 m, height h=3.4×106 m and G=6.7×1011 Nm2kg2.

The value of g at a height h above the earth's surface is given by

g=GM(R+h)2
=6.7×1011×6×1024(6.4×106+3.4×106)2.

On solving we get g=4.18 ms2
