$W_{1}$ = mg $[1 - \frac{d_{1}}{D}]$ = W $[1 - \frac{d_{1}}{D}]$ .........(a)

Similarly, $W_{2}$ = mg $[1 - \frac{d_{2}}{D}]$ = W $[1 - \frac{d_{2}}{D}]$ .........(b)
