Solution

It is given that, weight of each tablet = 20mg

So we get, weight of 2,00,000 tablets = 2,00,000 × 20 ...(0.5 marks)

We get the weight of 2,00,000 tablets = 40,00,000 mg ...(0.5 marks)

We know that, total weight of tablets in the box = 40,00,000 mg

It can be written as, using1 g = 1000 mg ...(0.25 marks)

So the weight of box having tablets = 40,00,000/1000 = 4000 g ...(0.5 marks)

Aslo, we know that 1 kg = 1000 g ...(0.25 marks)

So the weight of box having tablets = 4000/1000 = 4 kg ...(0.5 marks)

Therefore, the total weight of all the tablets in the box is 4000 g or 4 kg. ...(0.5 marks)
