The correct option is D 3 Length of the rectangular field = l = 55m Breadth of the rectangular field = b = 45 m Perimeter of the field = Distance covered by the boy in one lap. Perimeter of a rectangle = 2×(l+b) = 2×(55+45) = 2×100 = 200 m ∴ in one lap he covers a distance of 200 m Hence, to cover a total of 600 m he needs to run 600÷200 = 3 laps
