The correct option is C

Given: mass of bullet m1=20 g=0.02 kg, mass of wooden block m2=80 g=0.08 kg, initial velocity of bullet u1=100 ms1, the block is at rest its initial velocity u2=0 ms1
Since the block and bullet moves with a common velocity later, let the common velocity of the block and bullet system as v
By applying law of conservation of momentum,

Initial momentum of the system = Final momentum of the system

(0.020×100)+(0.080×0)=v×(0.020+0.080)
2=v×0.1
v= 20m/s.
