as we know the height of capillary rise is inversely proportional to the radius of capillary.let suppose rise in capillary is H for radius R mass is M. M=πR2Hρgif radius is double then the rise will be half.now mass will be M'=4πR2Hρg2=2πR2Hρg=2Mthe new mass will be 2M.Regards
