Distance cover to finish the race d=100 m
Velocity v=10 m/s
Time taken t=dv=10010=10 s
For car :
Let the acceleration be a.
Initial velocity of car u=0
Using S=ut+12at2
where t=10 s
So, 100=0+12×a×102
a=2 m/s2
