Case 1:

Distance $=50km$, Time $=1hr=60$ minutes

Case 2:

Let the distance $=x$, Time $=12$ minutes

Since, if the distance will increase then the time taken to travel by car will be also increase.

So, this situation is in direct proportion.

i.e., the quotient of the quantities are in proportion.

$\Rightarrow \frac{50km}{60\text{minutes}}=\frac{x}{12\text{minutes}}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{5}{6}\times 12=x$

$\Rightarrow 10=x$
Therefore, distance travelled in $12$ minutes $=10km$.
