A car travels at a constant speed of 20 m/s. Work out the time it takes for the car to travel 10 km. Give your answer in minutes and seconds.

Constant speed of car is S = 20 m/s
Distance D = 10 km = 10 x 1000 m= 10000 m

As Distance = Speed x Time

Time to cover the distance = 10000/20
= 500 second
or 500/60 = 8.3 minutes

Hence anwer is 8 minute 30 second
