Given : For Carnot engine,
$\Rightarrow T_{1} = 600 K$ $T_{2} = 300 K$
$\Rightarrow W = 800 J$
We know,
Efficiency $(n) = 1 - \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}} = \frac{W}{Q}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{W}{Q} = 1 - \frac{300}{600}$
$\Rightarrow Q = \frac{W}{1 - \frac{1}{2}}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{800}{\frac{1}{2}}$
$\Rightarrow Q = 1600 J$
i.e, heat given to system is $1600 J .$
