A cell is able to survive when
Both cytoplasm and nucleus are intact
The cell can survive only if both the nucleus and the cytoplasm are intact. Cytoplasm is the jelly-like fluid where all the organelles are present. The cytoplasm serves as a medium to transport proteins and organic molecules inside the cell to different parts. The nucleus is like the 'brain' of the cell. It controls the cell's various processes which make the cell live. Also, it is most important for making copies of cell i.e producing new cells.
