Solution

The correct option is D

45, 60, 75

Given that the number of coins of denomination 1 rupee, 50 paisa and 25 paisa are in the ratio 3:4:5:-

Let the number of coins of these denominations be 3x, 4x and 5x respectively.

Value of each one rupee coin = Re. 1

Value of each 50 paisa coin = Rs. 0.5

Value of each 25 paisa coin = Rs. 0.25

Total money = 3x×1+4x×0.5+5x×0.25

=3x+2x+1.25x

=6.25x

The total amount is Rs. 93.75

6.25x=93.75

x=93.756.25

x=15

Thus, 3x=3×15=45
4x=4×15=60
5x=5×15=75

The number of coins of 1 rupee, 50 paisa and 25 paisa are 45, 60 and 75 respectively.
