At 9:00 a.m. there are 9 strokes and 8 intervals between strokes.
Thus for 17 equal time intervals, Time = 34 sec. - For 1 interval time = 2 seconds. At 18:00 hours i.e. (6:00 p.m.) there are 6 strokes and 5 intervals i.e. total 11 time intervals of 2 seconds.
- Answer = 22 seconds.
