The correct option is A 6ms2
We know force = mass×acceleration
Condition force applied on bodies is FA=FB=F
Thus FA=mAaA and FB=mBaB
From condition we can conclude that
mAaA=mBaB
mAmB=aBaA=1510mA=1.5mB
Now as same amount of force F is applied when both the bodies are combined together we get
F=(mA+mB)×aC
Also we know force F=mBaB
Therefore
mBaB=(mA+mB)ac
15mB=2.5mBac
ac=6m/s2
