The correct option is C 38

Given, if the numerator is increased by 1, then fraction =x+1y=12
=>2x+2=y
=>2xy=2 --- (1)
Also, if the denominator are each increased by 1, then fraction =xy+1=13
=>3x=y+1
=>3xy=1 --- (2)

Subtracting equation (1)
from (2), we get x=3

Substituting x=3 in the
equation (1), we get 2(3)y=2=>y=8

Hence, the fraction is 38
