Solution

The correct option is C 11
Let the customer purchase "B" bananas and "A" apples.
So, 0.7A + 0.5B = 6.30 where A and B both take whole number value.
Trying combinations for A and B:
A = 4 and B = 7 , we have: 0.7 ×4 + 0.5 × 7 = 6.3
So, he bought 7 apples and 4 bananas. So, he bought a total of 7+4 = 11 fruits from the shopkeeper.
