Let numbers of men = x

No.of menxx10No.of days100110

Now number of men is inversely proportional to the no. of of days

x×100=(x10)110

x×100=(x10)110

100x=(x10)110

=110x1100

1100=110x100x

1100=10x

x=110

Hence, there were 110 men originally.
