Solution

The correct option is B 0.3177 g
Equivalent weight of silver =108 g/eq

Equivalent weight of copper =31.77 g/eq

Mass of Ag deposited =1.08 g

Substituting values in the following equation:

Mass of Cu depositedMass of Ag deposited=Eq.Wt of CuEq. Wt of Ag

Mass of Cu deposited1.08=31.77108

Mass of Cu deposited=31.77108×1.08=0.3177 g.

Hence, option C is correct.
