The correct option is B NIAB ; ^i

Torque acting on the circular coil τ=μ×BBut for Nturns, μ=NIA

Thus, τ=NIABsinθ

Area vector of the circular coil is perpendicular to direction of magnetic field. So θ=90.

τ=NIAB

Direction of magnetic moment is along the same direction of area vector (i.e along ^k)

From the data given in the question, direction of magnetic field is ^j

Thus, direction of torque vector is ^τ=^k×^j=^i

Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
