The correct option is B 5.045cm
Let L be the initial diameter of metal disc, α be the coefficient of linear expansion of the metal and ΔT be the change in temperature.

Given, L=5cm, α=1.8×105C and ΔT=500C

Final diameter, Lt=L(1+(α×ΔT))

Lt=5×[1+((1.8×105)×500)]

=5.045cm
