Answer 1

Diameter = 14 m
Radius $=\frac{14}{2}=7m$
Height = 5 m

∴ Area of the metal sheet required = total surface area

$$\begin{gathered} =2\mathrm{\pi r}(\mathrm{h}+\mathrm{r}) \\ =2\times \frac{22}{7}\times 7(5+7)m^2 \\ =44\times 12m^2 \\ =528{\mathrm{m}}^2 \end{gathered}$$
