Let y be the total number of boxes needed

Given that,

Each box carries c candy bars

total number of candy bars needed = cy .... Cond(1)

Now,

No. of members = 3c

each member sells x bars per day

3c member sells 3cx bars per day

In 5 days no. of bars sold = 3cx×5=15cx ..Cond(2)

Since Condition 1 and 2 are same,

cy=15cx

y=15x

No. of boxes = 15x
