Let $y$ be the total number of boxes needed

Given that,

Each box carries $c$ candy bars

$\therefore$ total number of candy bars needed = $cy$ .... Cond(1)

Now,

No. of members = $3c$

each member sells $x$ bars per day

$\therefore$ $3c$ member sells $3cx$ bars per day

$\therefore$ In $5$ days no. of bars sold = $3cx\times 5=15cx$ ..Cond(2)

Since Condition 1 and 2 are same,

$cy=15cx$

$\therefore y=15x$

No. of boxes = $15x$
