R=30 Ω ; XL=20 Ω at f=50 Hz

Inductance, L=XLω=XL2πf=202π×50=15π H

Vrms=200 V ; f=100 Hz

Irms=VrmsZ=VrmsR2+XL2=VrmsR2+(2πfL)2

Substituting the data given in the question,

Irms=200302+[2π×100×15π]2=200302+402

Irms=20050=4 A.

Hence, option (d) is the correct answer.
