A collection has 36, 1 rupee coins and some 2 rupee coins. How many kinds of 1 and 2 rupee coins are there in the collection if their total value is Rs. 46?

We know the quantity of Rs 1 coin, but we do not the quantity of Rs 2 coins.
Hence, let the quantity of Rs 2 coins be p.
Now, we have 36 + 2p = 46
2p = 46 - 36 = 10
p = 5 coins
