alpha ketoglutaric Acid
Malate
MAlonate
Oxaloacetate

Solution

Dear student,

Answer is c) Malonate. Malonate has more affinity for succinate dehydrogenase than succinate for the reactive site present on enzyme. It prevents the substrate (succinate) from binding to the enzyme and thus without substrate binding enzyme cannot convert substrate into product. So, reaction will not occur. Therefore it is a competitive inhibitor.
