A compound having formula $C_{4} H_{10}$ does not react with sodium but hydrolyzed with dil $H_{2} S O_{4}$ to form 'B'. The compound 'B' react with 'red' P and Iodine to form compound 'C'. The compound 'C' is also formed when it react and compound 'A'. Identify compound A, B and C.

Degree of unsaturation $[D . U] = \frac{2 C + 2 + N - H - X}{2}$
$⟹ D . U = \frac{2 \times 4 + 2 - 8}{2} = 1 \Rightarrow$ One double bond.
Two isomer of $C_{4} H_{8}$ are possible as shown above.
