$\frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{u}$

$\frac{1}{-1}=\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{-14}$

$v=-51.33\text{cm}$

Hence, 51.3 cm on the front of the mirror.
