A cuboidal block of solid iron has dimension 50 cm, 45 cm and 34 cm. How many cubiods of size 5 cm by 2 cm can be obtained from this block? Assume cutting causes no wasteage.

Dimensions of block 50 cm, 45 cm, 34 cm
$\therefore Volume=50\times 45\times 34=76500c{m}^3$
Size of cubiod = $5cm\times 3cm\times 2cm$
$\therefore$ Volume of cuboid = $5\times 3\times 2=30c{m}^3$
$\therefore$ Number of cubiod = $\frac{76500}{30}=2550$
