The correct option is B 13 Ω
Let the internal resistance of battery be r
Case 1:- When battery connected across 2 Ω resistor

Using ohm's law

E=2(2+r)(1)

Case 2 :- When battery connected across 9 Ω resistor


Using ohm's law

E=0.5(9+r)(2)

from equation (1) and (2)

2(2+r)=0.5(9+r)

4+2r=4.5+0.5r

1.5r=0.5

r=13 Ω

option (b) is correct
