The correct option is B 24.2 KJ
V1=120 V,I1=6 A and V2=220 V.
Let the resistance offered by the heater be R.
When first voltage supply is connected to the heater
We know, V1=I1R
120=6×R
R=20 Ω
If we connect the same heater to the second supply voltage
Substituting values in equation, V=IR
220=I×20
I=11 A
Heat Generated , H=I2RT
H=112×20×10=24.2 kJ
