Volume of cylinder = $π$ $r^{2} h$

= $\frac{22}{7}$ $\times$ ( $\frac{3}{2})^{2}$ $\times$ 3.5

= 24.75 $m^{3}$ or 24750 litres (∵ 1m³=1000 litres)

Volume of half of the tank

= $\frac{24750}{2}$ = 12375 litres
Time needed to empty half the tank = $\frac{12375}{225}$ = 55 minutes
