A diatomic gas is heated at constant pressure. If 105 J of heat is given to the gas, then the change in internal energy of the gas (in J)  is

From First law of thermodynamics
ΔQ=ΔU+ΔW
For isobaric process
ΔQ=ΔU+nRΔT
Relation between internal energy and degree of freedom is 
ΔU=fnRΔT2nRΔT=2ΔUf

ΔQ=ΔU(1+2f)

For a diatomic gas, f = 5

ΔU=ΔQ57=(105)57=75 J
